Director Biography
Santiago Requejo is a Spanish film director, screenwriter, and producer known for socially driven cinema. He has won over 100 awards at national and international festivals and earned a Goya nomination and Oscar shortlist placement for his acclaimed short Votamos (All in Favor). Requejo debuted with the feature Abuelos and has since directed works including the Netflix comedy No puedo vivir sin ti and the feature adaptation Votemos. His films often explore social themes with sharp insight and humanity
